xzgv has now moved to Sourceforge, with a new maintainer taking over from version 0.9.
If you still want to try using the old 0.8, it should for now still be available from ibiblio. Be sure to also apply this patch (with e.g. "patch -p0 <xzgv*.diff") before compiling.
